These people actually believe that they can stand before a legal scholar on the level of a judge and “stump” them with nonsense. People need to understand the extraordinary power that judges have to make your life extremely difficult right on the spot.

I’ve been watching too many sov cit YouTube vids. Court room and body cam. There were two videos of sov cits that would just not stop. Judge hit them with contempt and made them spend the night in jail. They appear the next day with a different attitude. It was satisfying

It's super common in parts of the country to use terms of endearment like honey casually with strangers. Maybe slightly inappropriate in the context, but the judge was just trying to level with her person to person to keep her out of trouble.

This is a very naive young woman. He was genuinely trying to save her from herself. He wasn’t looking for sugar. He was looking for understanding
